This genuine TOYOTA turbine outlet elbow gasket (part number 17279-51020) provides a reliable, gas-tight seal between the turbocharger turbine housing outlet elbow and the exhaust system mating surface.
The exhaust side of the turbocharger is subjected to extreme thermal cycling and high pressure. The function of this gasket is to prevent toxic, high-temperature exhaust gases from leaking into the engine compartment upstream of the exhaust gas treatment components.
