The genuine TOYOTA rear crankshaft oil seal (SEAL, TYPE T OIL / ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL) with part number 90311-99010 is a critical sealing component of the engine lubrication system. Its function is to reliably retain engine oil inside the crankcase at the rear outlet of the crankshaft, preventing oil leaks toward the flywheel and transmission, while also preventing dirt and contaminants from entering internal engine components.
The seal is made of high-quality, heat- and oil-resistant elastomer (typically FKM/Viton or polyacrylate) featuring an integrated metal reinforcing ring and a spring-loaded sealing lip.
