TOYOTA 90468-14033 Parking Brake Cable Retaining Clip

The genuine TOYOTA part number 90468-14033 is a high-quality, precision plastic retaining clip (parking brake cable retaining clip). Its primary function is to provide precise, secure, and vibration-free mounting of the vehicle's parking brake cable and other structural cables to the body, underbody, or chassis components.

A properly secured cable is essential for the reliable operation of the mechanical brake system. The clip prevents cable sagging, rattling during motion, and prevents the outer sheath of the brake cable from chafing against rotating or sharp underbody components. Aged, brittle, or broken fasteners can lead to cable displacement, tension, or premature wear, making the replacement of damaged retainers essential during chassis and brake system maintenance.
